CISGIORDANIA A FERRO E A FUOCO
Il sedicente “piano di pace” millantato dall’ineffabile affabulatore attuale presidente degli Stati Uniti e dai suoi accoliti, tra i quali primeggia il genero J. Kushner, (a dimostrazione che il nepotismo non muore mai) e il cessate il fuoco truffaldino di ottobre a Gaza non fermano ne’ le stragi (in scala minore) ne’ l’accaparramento di terre in Cisgiordania. Anzi, violando come d’abitudine la legge internazionale e gli obsoleti accordi di Oslo, Israele con uno sberleffo registra come proprie le terre palestinesi i cui legittimi proprietari non possiedono i titoli di proprietà, e così legalizza il furto. I metodi non vanno per il sottile, da molto tempo: scorrerie di coloni armati di giorno e di notte, a volte sotto lo sguardo benevolo dell’esercito, cercano e magari riescono a cacciare via i poveri contadini cui si rende la vita impossibile, senza indietreggiare se si tratta di sparare e uccidere. Video, immagini satellitari e resoconti di testimoni illustrano uno dei peggiori attacchi dell'attuale ondata del terrorismo ebraico nella Cisgiordania, come Yarden Michaeli e Matan Golan riportano su Haaretz del 5 febbraio 2026.
La comunità beduina di Mukhmas nella Cisgiordania centrale è stata assediata dalla violenza dei coloni per mesi. Per tre volte i coloni sono arrivati di notte appiccando il fuoco ma gli abitanti sono rimasti. Ora dei video, immagini satellitari e testimonianze oculari mostrano come uno dei più crudeli attacchi a questa piccola comunità si è verificato lo scorso mese come tappa di una recente ondata di terrorismo ebraico nella Cisgiordania. SI vede come in appena pochi minuti gli attaccanti – circa 20 sono stati visti in varie immagini delle riprese – hanno appiccato il fuoco a un certo numero di strutture e sono fuggiti.
L’uomo arrestato dopo l’attacco del 17 gennaio era il proprietario dell’automezzo usato dagli assalitori per fuggire. La polizia afferma che questi è stato rilasciato perché egli non era a Mukhmas quella notte.
Le riprese dell’attacco da differenti angolazioni mostrano gli aggressori che vanno di struttura in struttura sistematicamente appiccando fuoco a ciascuna di esse. Dall’altro lato dell’agglomerazione altre due strutture sono state incendiate. In un caso, è stato impedito a un uomo e a una donna di allontanarsi dal fuoco. Quando essi sono riusciti a sfuggire al fuoco, sono stati picchiati dagli aggressori.
Una settimana fa, gli attaccanti sono ritornati per appiccare ancora il fuoco. Ci sono stati nel frattempo altri incidenti violenti. La domenica dei soldati israeliani hanno impedito a degli abitanti di ricostruire le case distrutte adducendo il pretesto che quella era un’area militare chiusa.
Questi attacchi sono cominciati pochi giorni dopo che la (nuova) postazione di coloni Kol Mavaser è stata messa in piedi, come porzione di una serie di postazioni e insediamenti che accerchiano Mukhmas. Kol Mevaser è ben nota per essere violenta e riconosciuta tale (anche) dall’establishment della Difesa israeliano, fatto inusuale.
Video e foto di tutti gli attacchi su Mukhmas così come di altri assalti nella Cisgiordania appaiono negli accounts di attivisti di destra in Cisgiordania. Tali resoconti sono spesso accompagnati da didascalie che spiegano come “Allegri Ebrei” hanno appiccato fuoco o attaccato Palestinesi.
Recentemente un video applaude ai ripetuti incendi di Mukhmas. Il video contiene una canzone: “Noi andiamo giù nei villaggi/Noi bruciamo e ammazziamo e iniziamo una guerra/Scatta un allarme/e tutti si riuniscono/la festa comincia.”
Nonostante i ripetuti episodi di violenza e tale autodenuncia, le autorità israeliane non provvedono a difendere la comunità beduina. Ciò rispecchia la mancanza di volontà di applicare la legge dopo gli attacchi dei coloni e il terrorismo ebraico contro i palestinesi nella Cisgiordania.”

Pogromists burning homes and throwing stones in Mukhmas

The Bedouin community of Mukhmas in the central West Bank has been beleaguered by settler violence for months. Three times now, settlers have arrived at night and set the community on fire, but the people there have clung on.
Evidence from videos, satellite images and eyewitness accounts show how one of the most ruthless attacks on this small community took place last month as part of a recent wave of Jewish terrorism in the West Bank. We see how in just a few minutes the attackers – about 20 have been seen in various frames of footage – set fire to a number of structures and escaped.
The man who was arrested after the January 17 attack was the owner of a vehicle used by the assailants to escape. The police say he was released because he was not in Muhkmas that night.
Footage of the onslaught from several angles shows assailants moving from structure to structure and systematically setting them on fire. Two additional structures on the other side of the community were also set alight. At one burning structure, a man and a woman were prevented by the attackers from escaping the fire. When they managed to get out, they were beaten by the attackers.
A week ago, settlers returned and set fire to structures. There have been other violent incidents in between. On Sunday, Israeli soldiers prevented members of the community from rebuilding the homes that were burned, claiming that this was a closed military area.
These attacks began a few days after the settler outpost of Kol Mevaser was put up, part of a ring of outposts and settlements surrounding Mukhmas. Kol Mevaser is notoriously violent and recognized as such by the Israeli defense establishment – an unusual move.
Videos and photos of all the attacks on Mukhmas, as well as other assaults around the West Bank, appear in the social media accounts of right-wing activists in the West Bank. These posts are often accompanied by a caption telling how “Happy Jews” have set fires or attacked Palestinians.
One video in recent days hails the repeated burning of Mukhmas. The video features a song: “We go down to the villages / We burn and slaughter and start a war / An alarm goes off and everybody gathers; a party is starting.”
Despite the recurring violence and this claim of responsibility, the Israeli authorities are not providing protection to the people of this Bedouin community. This conforms with a pattern of failing to enforce the law after settler attacks and Jewish terrorism on Palestinians around the West Bank.
